What makes Prime Partners a good firm to work for.
We are building one of the best chartered accounting firms to work for in Australia: real advisory work, genuine client relationships, and a culture where life comes first. Here is what that means in practice.
Flexible and hybrid working
Hybrid working and flexible arrangements built around how good work actually gets done, with trust as the starting point. Life comes first here, and it is a genuine commitment rather than a slogan.
CA and CPA study support
We back people working towards their Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification with study support, paid study leave, and direct mentoring from qualified accountants and partners.
Real advisory work, early
You work close to the clients you advise on structuring, tax planning and growth, not just compliance. You are backed early and given real responsibility rather than kept at arm’s length.
A clear path forward
The route to more responsibility is set out plainly rather than left to guesswork, with direct mentoring from partners and associate directors invested in your development.
The depth of a larger firm
We pair the depth and capability of a larger firm with the genuine, lasting client relationships that bigger firms stopped being able to offer, across business advisory, private client, SMSF and our Finance Hub.
Two offices, room to grow
Offices in North Sydney and Orange, NSW, and a firm growing deliberately toward a national presence, so there is room to build a long career and shape how the business grows.

Prime Partners exists for the moments that matter. The right decision, made at the right time, changes what becomes possible for a business, a family, a future.
Most of what an accountant does is steady and necessary, and we do it properly. But the work we care about most is being genuinely useful when the stakes are high and the decision is real. That’s the standard everything else in here is built around, and it’s why we exist.
Life comes first here, and it is a real commitment rather than a slogan. The shape of your life will change while you are here, and the business should move with that.
The business growing companies choose when they want real advice from people who know them.
We want to be the business that growing companies across Australia choose when they want real advice from people who actually know them. A business with the depth and capability of the big end of town, and the relationships that the big end of town stopped being able to offer.
That means a national presence, offices across the country, and a reputation that reaches well beyond North Sydney. We’re building toward that deliberately, and we’re not in a hurry to cut corners to get there. The growth we’re pursuing has to be the right kind, with the right people, serving clients the way we believe they should be served.
You’re part of that. Every client relationship handled well, every piece of advice that lands at the right moment, every colleague who develops and stays, that’s how we get there. The goal is ambitious and it’s meant to be, because the version of this business we’re building is worth building.
The things we kept coming back to.
These are not values we arrived at in a workshop. They are the things that revealed what actually mattered to us, in client conversations and in the hard moments.
The right decision at the right time
The right decision, made at the right time, changes everything. We stay close to the detail and think about what the advice actually unlocks, not just whether it is technically correct.
The relationship is the work
We carry each other’s context, cover for each other properly, and treat the team around us with the same care we would want shown to our clients. Presence matters in every direction.
Honest advice is a form of care
The slightly uncomfortable conversation is usually the one that matters most. We would rather have it early, when there is still room to act, than avoid it until the options have narrowed.
We do what we say we’ll do
Deadlines, commitments, follow-ups, these things matter here. If something changes, we say so before it becomes someone else’s problem. Reliability is noticed in both directions.
