We are looking for an HR and recruitment advisor to look after our people and help us find the next ones. You will run HR for the team day to day, from onboarding onwards, and you will run recruitment for the group, including Prime People.
About the role
This is a hands-on role with two halves. The first is HR: making sure everyone who joins us has a good start, and that the team has someone to go to for contracts, leave, policies and the questions that come up along the way.
The second is recruitment. Prime People is the group's recruitment business, and it hires accountants and finance people for the firms across the group. You will run it: building relationships with candidates before roles open, managing our job board and candidate database, and taking each hire from brief to start date.
What you'll do
- Run onboarding and inductions, so new starters have what they need from day one
- Prepare contracts and letters, and keep HR records, leave and policies up to date
- Be the first point of contact for HR questions, and support managers with probation and performance conversations
- Take hires from brief to start date: writing ads, screening, interviews, references and offers
- Build a pipeline of accounting and finance candidates, so good people are ready when a role opens
- Run Prime People day to day, including its job board, candidate database and relationships with the group's firms
What you'll need
- At least three years in HR, recruitment or both, in house or agency
- A working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, the National Employment Standards and modern awards
- Experience recruiting professional staff, ideally accountants or finance people
- Confidence with LinkedIn, job boards and an applicant tracking system
- Good judgement, discretion and the ability to get on with people at every level
- An HR or business qualification is welcome but not essential
What we offer
$85,000 to $100,000 plus super, depending on experience
